Martino Vertova is an artisan of glass and master glazier. He began his experience in the paternal shop with large-scale decorative works, such as the restoration of the ancient windows of the Certosa di Pavia and in general specializing in the processing of religious stained glass windows. Over time, his sensitivity in the processing of the material changes: Vertova uses an extremely plastic material, such as glass, to create dishes, furnishing accessories and sculptures, bringing his art and his manual skills to Italian homes. In 1990 he started the production of objects and elements for the table. Martino Vertova makes beautiful figures from the sea, jellyfish and fish that you can admire in our space in Via di Torre Argentina in Rome. And then serving dishes, bowls, bowls, colored blown glass vases that often adorn our shop window. Experimenting with materials such as platinum, gold and grit, which in the glass form veins, abstract patterns and refined shades of color inspired by the chromatism of the ancient windows, together with a special technique that produces small bubbles of air in which the light captured is refracted. This is how fused glass objects are born to enchant with refinement: vases, plates, ampoules whose beauty is timeless.
